Welcome!
Are you looking to improve your relationship? Learn how to communicate better? Find a life-partner? Navigate the ups-and-downs of dating? Deal with a difficult break-up? Pivot out of a break-down? Heal and grow after adversity? Make a tough decision? Manage your emotions more skillfully? Clarify your life’s purpose? Bring your family back together? Experience more joy, zest and inner peace?
What I offer you is not only twelve years of counselling experience, ten years of university training and a lifetime dedicated to the study and practice of healing and growth but, more importantly, the felt sense that I’ve got your back, I’m in your corner and I’m totally dedicated to helping you get wherever you want to go. Whether I am working with you as an individual, couple or family, I’ll give you not just my experience and expertise, but the curious and compassionate attention necessary to clarify and accomplish your goals.
In addition to having a B.A. and an M.A. from McGill University and a 3-year Post-Masters degree in clinical psychology (specializing in working with individuals, couples and families), I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia, a Marital and Family Therapist in British Columbia and a Board Certified Life Coach across Canada and the U.S.
When working with clients in B.C. I practice as a psychotherapist, marital and family therapist and life coach. When working with clients outside of B.C. I practice exclusively as a life coach.
In addition to being well-trained in a variety of evidence-based psychotherapeutic and life coaching models, I also worked as a professor at Marianopolis College for 14 years, and I’m a father of two.
Come chat with me. Tell me where you’re headed. Tell me what’s getting in your way. Tell me what you’re reluctant to say out loud but know you need to address. Then let’s navigate it together so you can do what matters, no matter what.

Testimonials
“I honestly want to genuinely thank you. I’ve realized more and more recently how much things you suggested to me, the information you gave me, conversations we had and your care and concern truly helped me and I really want you to know this as well. […] Although I cannot say things are perfect (not that that is a word I’m too fond of anyway) I do really feel like they are better than they have been in a very long time and I am finally rebuilding my life. Thank you for the part that you played in that.”
~Kathleen, 12/18/2018
“Seth is a dedicated therapist, very knowledgable and a great listener. He was committed every step of the way. Thank you for your tremendous help! A life changer!”
~ Nick (11/11/2019)
“My husband and I have seen several marriage counsellors over the years, but none of them have been as helpful as Seth. He really helped us cut to the chase, get our relationship back on track and feel close again. One thing that has especially stuck with me is the way he helped us look at ourselves as our own primary caretakers and then look to one another as our secondary caretakers. That has really shifted things for us.”
